This is one of the rare times I’m sharing an update on my personal life. I just thought it might give my readers a better perspective about me, bearing in mind that I am still a very private person in my real, offline world.
So, I relocated to Canada barely 2 months ago and it’s been an emotional rollercoaster for me and my family. We experienced over 12 hours of flight followed by several days of jetlag. Our arrival in summer was a blessing; at least we didn’t feel much difference from the Nigerian weather. We are now in autumn and I am definitely not looking forward to the cold winter, argh!
The children have been mostly excited. They blended seamlessly, made new friends quickly and started school as usual. Of course, they don’t have to worry about food and bills. Mum and dad are adulting it out, lol!

Within these few weeks, I have been working hard to get my professional licence and start practising medicine again. If you have read my bio before, you may be aware that I took a long career break in 2020. It was meant to be short, but COVID happened to all of us, didn’t it? In 2021, I went back to private practice in Nigeria until we decided to move to Canada as permanent residents.
So if you remember me in your prayers, tell God to grant me success in this new career path I have started. When that is sorted, maybe I’ll document some exciting pictures of my life in Canada and write more blog posts to entertain you here. Or, would you like a vlog instead? Let me know in the comment box.
Bonus update: I’m working on a new book and it should be launched before the end of this year. Watch this space!
