Some didn’t make it at all
Some didn’t make it this far
Some still won’t make this Eid;
even if it’s just an hour away.
Oh! Allaah, accept our fasting
Oh! Allaah, accept our prayers
Oh! Allaah, accept our sacrifices
Oh! Allaah, grant us a blessed Eid
and many more Eids
and many more Ramadans
and many more years
in health,
in wealth
and in happiness.
Grant us success, oh! Lord;
in this life
and in the hereafter.
