THE EYE OF FAITH

There are some things that appear so crystal clear that you don’t need a 6/6 visual acuity to see. But there are other things that need critical viewing and reviewing before they can be understood. For example, during laboratory practicals, certain bodily fluids will be smeared on glass slides and placed under the microscope. Then the teacher or demonstrator would say, “class, look at the 8 o’clock position, can you see that cell? that’s a macrophage”. A few geniuses will grab it once and be like, “yaaay! I see it”. Some others will sincerely admit that they can’t see it. But most of us will pretend as if we have seen it. Of course, we saw it with the eye of faith. Lol!

While cheering up ourselves and others, we often say, “there is light at the end of the tunnel”. It’s true and it’s easy to believe, especially when you have a strong relationship with The Almighty. However, the real task lies in actually seeing that light as dim as it may be, convincing yourself that yes, there is that light. When everywhere seems totally dark, the eye of faith sees illumination and fluorescence. This is not just about being spiritual/religious, even modern day Psychology has proven it.

So, dear friends, whenever the roller coaster of life throws you beyond your limits, recruit your eye of faith and begin to see yourself in paradise. Take control over what you see, or think. At the end of the day, you only see what you choose to see!

“… And whoever puts his trust in Allaah, then He will be sufficient for him…”
Quran chapter 65 verse 3.
